book introduction
This is a collection of poems written by Lee Seong-man, Japanese Vice President of Family Federation for World Peace and Unification, while carrying out True Mother's world tour. It consists of 30 poems written from January 2018 to November 2020, and in the form of an epic poem, it is a literary depiction of True Mother's journey to settle in Cheon Il Guk from a prophetic point of view.

Poet Lee Seong-man's works are mainly in the form of epic poems, depicting True Mother's journey as a laborer for the establishment of Cheon Il Guk. We sing the history and ethnicity of the country we are visiting and praise the heavenly calling we have been given. In Nepal, where the highest peak of the earth is located, like a crane, the mother, who crossed the Himalayas through life and death, riding the wind of the heart, was praised through literary descriptions. Due to my mother's visit, I also complained of regrets about the Gate of No Return on the Isle of Wailing, Kore Island. On the other hand, Hyojeong's guidelines for praising Cheon Bo-won and looking up to the sky were expressed in the work.

In the meantime, I have been greatly blessed by carrying out most of Mother's world tours except for a few countries. Once the country and schedule to be toured were confirmed, we prayed for the safety and victory of our parents until the tour was completed and put all our heart into it. Each time, the providential events of Mother's world tour were delivered to the family members through text messages and images through Peace TV. In addition, many media outlets covered it and spread it as news.
As a living witness to the historical site, I tried to give meaning, interpret, and express it by mobilizing my poetic imagination. On the one hand, it is also a prayer and a testimonial.
Commentary
A prophet is not immersed in reality, but sees the essence of every moment or every event and prophesies for the future. He has the power to point out the right path for a nation or a common people. What is that power and where does it come from? It is a revelatory content from heaven, rather than an image that comes from you, and you will hear a voice that can transcend reality. Poets are people who have a human nature close to heaven. We are always ready to open our hearts and listen to the voice of heaven. In that respect, the prophet is in line with the poet.
Poet Seongman Lee is a pastor who majored in theology at university. And I am writing poetry. On the other hand, he committed himself to missionary work in Japan early on and was engaged in the providence of Japan for the rest of his life. True Parents have shown the example of mother-in-law in the immediate vicinity. This collection of poems is also written in the same context. It is consistent with literary depictions that foretell the future from the perspective of a prophet or the providence of parents.
About the author
Born in Yesan, Chungcheongnam-do in 1954, Lee Seong-man graduated from the Theology Department of Korea Christian University (KCU) and completed the Waseda University Japanese Language Research and Education Center and the U.S. Unification Theological Seminary (UTS) leadership course. In addition, he received a Master of Divinity from Sunmoon University's Graduate School of Theology and an honorary Doctor of Divinity from UTS. Starting as a founding member of the International Christian Student Association in 1981, he worked as the head of the planning department and the head of the mission, and devoted himself to the ecumenical movement. In 1986, he planted a Korean-Japanese church as a Japanese missionary for the Family Federation for World Peace and Reunification. After that, he served as the head of the parish, district, evangelism and education bureau, and planning office, devoted to pastoral and missionary activities. Since 2018, he has served as the head and vice president of the Japan Family Federation.
Currently, he is working as a director of the Hyojeong World Peace Foundation, a councilor at the International Highway Foundation, the president of the Hunminjeongeum Global Association, and a standing adviser to Ilsim Hospital. Received the 2019 Simjeong Literature Rookie of the Year Award.
